The Central Conservatory of Music, or Yin Zhong for short, is located in Beijing, the capital of China. Founded in 1949, the college is an institution of higher learning that trains high-level specialized music talents, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and is the only key construction institution among the "21/engineering" national art colleges.
Since its establishment, the College has established a strong faculty and teaching management team, emerged a group of experts and scholars who have made outstanding contributions in teaching and scientific research, attracted a large number of talented young musicians at home and abroad to study in the College, and trained tens of thousands of outstanding musicians and hundreds of foreign students, most of whom have become well-known composers, musicians, music educators, music performance artists, leaders and business backbones of cultural and artistic institutions at home and abroad.
