The annual tuition fee paid by the credit system is changed to an education charging system based on professional registered tuition fee and credit tuition fee. The sum of professional registration tuition and credit tuition paid by students to complete their studies is not higher than the original academic year tuition.
The relevant departments require that the fees must be publicized, and schools should publicize the credit system fees, tuition fees for re-learning and participating in courses outside the teaching plan, refund methods and credit system fee management. Relevant departments also require that all administrative fees, such as tuition fees and accommodation fees, collected by various public colleges and universities be turned over to the financial special account or the state treasury at the same level in full, and the management of "two lines of revenue and expenditure" shall be implemented.
Tuition is not higher than the academic year standard.
The Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Municipal Education Commission have reached a consensus on the charging standard of the credit system. According to the relevant person in charge, after charging by credit, the charging standard of unit credit will be calculated according to the training cost and teaching cost of the school.
Different types of schools and different majors will have different credit charging standards. However, most students who complete their courses in normal years will not pay higher tuition fees than the current standard of charging by academic year. If college students do not take the exam or retake the exam, they need to pay the corresponding standard credits, and the cost of retake the credits will not be higher than the standard of normal credits.
It is reported that the new semester credit system may be piloted in several major universities in this city. These include municipal colleges and subordinate colleges. Several universities will explore mutual recognition of credits and establish a credit system through teaching.
Credit system can be adopted in some universities, such as Xueyuan Road, China Renmin University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Foreign Studies University and other 12 universities, and Zhongguancun, which is located in peace, is composed of seven universities including university of international business and economics, Beijing University of Technology and General Assembly.
