Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1959, and its predecessor was an advanced course of traditional Chinese medicine in Anhui Province founded in 1952. 65438-0959 Anhui Provincial Government officially approved the establishment of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1970, Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was merged into Anhui Medical College. 1975, the Ministry of Education approved the restoration of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2000, Anhui Medical College was merged into Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 20 1 1 The provincial government approved the establishment of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the basis of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 20 13 The Ministry of Education agreed to rename Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The school is a national clinical research base of traditional Chinese medicine, a national international cooperation base of traditional Chinese medicine, a national clinical research base of drugs, an authorized unit of national doctors, and an exemption unit recommended by master students. There are four campuses, Shaoquan Lake, Meishan Road, Shihe Road and Lu 'an Road, with full-time students 19502 (including doctoral students 135, master students15) and secondary hospitals 17 (including directly affiliated hospitals)
