Three Theories of Changing the World in the 20th Century
Continental drift theory, seafloor spreading theory, plate tectonics theory.

German scientist Alfred Wegener put forward the theory of continental drift in 19 12, which is called the father of continental drift theory. According to the very similar data on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, especially on the coasts of Africa and South America, Wei Gena believed that the earth was a united ancient continent in Paleozoic, drifting from the lighter silicon-aluminum layer to the heavier silicon-magnesium layer until it formed the land-sea distribution today. Judging from the mutual echo of the coastline on both sides of the Atlantic and the echo of the structures on both sides of the Atlantic, it provides evidence for the theory of continental drift.
