Fujian Normal University is located in Fuzhou, a famous city in the southeast of China. It was established by Fujian Provincial People's Government, China People's Government and Ministry of Education, and has a graduate school. It is one of the earliest normal universities in China and one of the three key high-level universities in Fujian Province.
Quanzhou Teachers College is located in Quanzhou. Its predecessor was Quanzhou University Teachers College, which was founded in 1958. In 2000, it was officially upgraded to Quanzhou Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is the first newly-built local and provincial undergraduate college in Fujian Province.
Minnan Normal University, located in Zhangzhou City, is a key construction university in Fujian Province and a doctoral degree awarding unit. The school developed from the teachers' college class established by Longxi Normal School in the spring of 1958, and was renamed Minnan Normal University in April of 20 13.
