On May 29th, 2005, Xi Youshi University signed a contract with Huxian People's Government for the construction of the second campus of Xi Youshi University. From June 5 to February 2005, preparations for the new campus began. In September 2006, the new campus of Huxian County of Xi Youshi University started construction.

According to the construction idea of "overall planning and step-by-step implementation", the new campus will be built into a humanistic, modern, ecological, garden and beautiful university campus, which will be completed in three phases in 5-8 years.
