UST (University of Science and Technology), a joint university of science and technology in South Korea.
University of Science and Technology (UST), whose Chinese name is UST, is one of the top universities of science and technology in Korea, just like POSTECH and KAIST.

Founded in 2003, headquartered in Daejeon, it is mainly composed of national research institutes in large and medium-sized Korean cities such as Seoul, Shui Yuan and Daejeon.

The original intention of its establishment is to make full use of the strength of many excellent research institutes in Korea and award internationally recognized degrees to students studying in excellent national research institutes in Korea. Therefore, its professors are researchers in major research institutes, and students are also distributed in various research institutes.

The form and status of UST are the same as those of the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences. Professors are researchers in various branches, and students are also engaged in graduate work in various branches.

At present, UST only has graduate schools, and only enrolls students at the master's and doctoral levels.
