Mr. Tang Yongqian, an alumnus of Zhejiang University, donated US$ 6.5438+RMB 0.66 million to build Yongqian Mathematics Building, which is located in the northwest of Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, with a construction area of 5,800 square meters.
Since 1997, Mr. Tang Yongqian and his wife, Ms. Yao (1940 graduated from the Department of Education of Zhejiang University) have successively established and built nine projects for their alma mater, with a donation of nearly 100 million yuan, which has played an important role in the infrastructure, discipline development and personnel training of Zhejiang University.
