University of South China trump card major
The trump cards of South China University include nuclear engineering and technology, clinical medicine, business administration, preventive medicine, mineral resources engineering, water supply and drainage engineering, etc.

University of South China was formed in March 2000 by the merger of the former Central South Institute of Technology and Hengyang Medical College. In June 2002, the Sixth Institute of Nuclear Industry merged. The predecessor of the former Central South Institute of Technology was Hengyang Mining and Metallurgy Engineering College founded by 1959, and the predecessor of the former Hengyang Medical College was Hengyang Medical College of Hunan Province founded by 1958.
