Wenzhou Teachers College was founded in 1956, and 1958 was upgraded to Wenzhou Teachers College.
1978 the State Council approved the restoration of Wenzhou Teachers College, and 1987 upgraded it to Wenzhou Teachers College.
From 65438 to 0992, Wenzhou Teachers College merged Wenzhou Education College and three secondary normal schools.
In 2006, it merged with Wenzhou University and established the new Wenzhou University.
The name of the school has changed several times, but the persistent love for cultivating talents in southern Zhejiang has never changed.

The Adult (Continuing) Education College of Wenzhou University implements a "four-in-one" management system: Adult Education College, Continuing Education College, Self-taught College and Technical and Management Talent Training Center, with 49 employees. The concept of "paying attention to connotation and striving for progress in stability" runs through the development of all school-running businesses and the whole process of the college. Quality construction has become the common pursuit of the main business of the college.
