Shanghai Ocean University is a full-time public university established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction university, and an education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents.
The school 19 12 was established in Jiangsu Fisheries School, 1952 was upgraded to Shanghai Fisheries College, the first undergraduate fisheries university in China, 1985 was renamed Shanghai Fisheries University, and in 2008 it was renamed Shanghai Ocean University.

19 14 On February 8th, the first president Zhong Zhang announced five things for students, namely, to be diligent and thrifty, to create a clean school spirit, to avoid showing off, not to talk about state affairs, and to be self-reliant.
