Xi 'an Medical College is a full-time undergraduate college organized by the provincial government, which consists of Hanguang Campus, Weiyang Campus and Gaoxin Campus. Undergraduate students 14079, 847 full-time graduate students.
The school, formerly known as Shaanxi Health Technical School, was founded in 195 1. 1959 was renamed Xi 'an Health School in Shaanxi Province, and Shaanxi Health Cadre College was established on this basis. 1994 The State Education Commission approved the establishment of Shaanxi Medical College. In February 2006, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Xi 'an Medical College.
Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1952 was founded in xi 'an, 1959 was upgraded to Shaanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 196 1 moved to Xianyang, the ancient capital. It is the only ordinary institution of higher learning in Shaanxi that cultivates high-quality talents of traditional Chinese medicine, and it is one of the eight institutions in China identified in Document No.56 of the Central Committee 1978.
20 15 was renamed Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After 69 years of construction and development, Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has become a medical college with traditional Chinese medicine as the main body, paying equal attention to both traditional Chinese and western medicine, and the disciplines of medicine, science, engineering, literature and management are mutually supported and integrated.
