Zhao Zilong's Character Analysis (2)
In The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhao Zilong made great efforts to cut down Hande and his four sons, including five generals, including Han Ying, Han Yao, Han Qiong and Han Qi. Hande is a general of Xiliang, good at chopping mountain axes and doing all kinds of evil. His four sons are also proficient in martial arts. At that time, Zhao Yun was seventy years old, but Zhao Yun, who was seventy years old, was still galloping at once, brave and fierce, and managed to behead five generals, which had to be admired. In the face of the enemy's five upright and mature generals, Zhao Yun was not afraid, but had a fighting spirit. However, as Cheng Wu said, Zhao Yun is brave and ignorant. Even though he had been ignorant for hundreds of years, he was still a little reckless and was ambushed. Fortunately, Zhang Bao, Guan Xing and others arrived in time to be saved.

Of course, Zhao Yun is also an unbeaten myth. He has never lost a battle, but it is nothing compared with his victory. This is very remarkable in the era of the Three Kingdoms, where talents are abundant and wars are frequent. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, there is a picture of Zhao Yun facing the enemy's arrows and poking them with a gun. The "shooting an arrow with a gun" here is always written lightly, which makes people feel that it is not thrilling, but it is enough to show that Zhao Yun has high martial arts and is fearless.

However, it would be a big mistake to say that Zhao Zilong is just brave and ignores his wisdom. In the battle of Guiyang in Zhao Zilong, we can see that Zhao Zilong was not a reckless man. He saw through Zhao Fan's tricks and gained Guiyang, which fully proved Zhao Zilong's wisdom. After Liu Bei married Sun Shangxiang, Zhuge Liang's clever plan saved Liu Bei, and Zhao Yun's intelligence should not be underestimated. For example, Zhao Yun deliberately let Mrs Sun hear the news of Jingzhou emergency. She asked Mrs. Sun again and again to help Liu Bei escape. Zhuge Liang edited the script as a screenwriter, and Zhao Yun planned the perfect script as a live executive director. Also, in the thirty-fifth cycle, Zhao Yun found that Liu Bei was missing. He didn't argue with Cai Mao and didn't go back, but patiently searched for Liu Bei. In Qing Dynasty, Mao Zonggang compared Guan Yu's and Zhang Fei's possible behaviors with Zhao Yun's, which highlighted Zhao Zilong's loyalty and delicacy.

Second, Zhao Yun in Shu Han's "Five Tiger Generals"

In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the ranking of "Five Iliad Generals" is "Zhang Guan Zhao Macelo Wong", namely Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao and Huang Zhong. As for "General Five Tigers", as long as you carefully identify it, you will know that it is not an official title, but a good name and an honorary title.

According to historical records, in the twenty-four years of Jian 'an, Liu Bei was the king of Hanzhong, Guan Yu was the former general, Zhang Fei was the right general, Ma Chao was the left general, and Huang Zhong was the post-general. The first three were all false festivals. Zhao Yun was appointed as the general of Yijun, with a slightly lower rank, but it was a great honor to meet Shi Shunping Hou after his death. As a powerful military group of Liu Bei, "General Five Tigers" has three conditions. First, they are all brave, skilled in martial arts, brave and good at fighting. From this point of view, the "Five Tiger Generals" are all strong people in Mazhuang, and they are all taken seriously. Zhao Yun's ferocity is well known in Nagasaka.

It can be seen that Po rode alone as a savior. At the age of seventy, Zhao Yun tried to behead five generals in Wei Jun. Second, these five people were totally loyal and tried their best to maintain political power. Zhao Yun's main role in The Romance of Three Kingdoms is to protect Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang and their families. At the critical moment, he always sacrificed his life as a savior, which is enough to show Zhao Yun's loyalty. Third, they have made outstanding contributions. Zhao Yun's stories in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms are not as many as those of generals such as Zhang Guan, but as a "ever-victorious general" and a "samurai general", they are not worthy of the name, so I won't elaborate here. Although Zhao Yun's position and fame in the army are not as good as those of Zhang Guan and Macelo Wong, Zhao Yun is a balanced force. He is not as close to Liu Bei as Zhang Guan. He is closer to Liu Bei than Ma Huang. Zhao Yun is deep and alert, not as arrogant as Guan Yu, nor as reckless and careless as Zhang Fei. He worked hard all his life and made great contributions to the Han Dynasty.

Third, Zhao Yun has been very popular with readers in recent years.

Zhaoyun is a dragon, and Changshan is a real person. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the world was in chaos, and the heroes rose together to unify the whole country. Dignitaries and people of insight all over the country have raised their rankings one after another, each voting for the Lord and making a name for himself. Zhao Yun is one of them. Because of Zhao Yun's good looks, high martial arts skills and decent handling, he was deeply supported by local officials and people and became the master of one party. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the main characters of Shu have shortcomings: Guan Yu is proud, Zhang Fei is reckless, and Liu Bei is hypocritical. Only Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun are perfect. When Zhao Yun rode alone as a savior, Mi Fang said that Zhao Yun had defected to Jun, but Liu Bei didn't believe him, thinking that Zhao Yun was loyal and Zhang Fei was simple-minded. He wants Zhao Yun, kill him. Compared with Zhao Yun, the military commander Zhang Fei is so reckless and brainless. This time, Cao Cao saw Zhao Yun's bravery for the first time, and ordered not to stab him in the back, so Zhao Cai Yun survived, and also set off Zhao Yun's perfect image from the side, so that the enemy could not bear to kill him.

Throughout the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhao Yun's image is almost perfect, showing loyalty and courage. He kept calm in the face of danger on the battlefield and was as clear-cut as Zhuge Liang in military knowledge. He is called a victorious general and a perfect hero. Judging from the words, deeds and achievements of the famous soldier Zhao Yun, Zhao Yun is not only a valiant soldier with superior martial arts, but also a kind gentleman with courage and insight, which can be seen everywhere in Zhao Yun, so Zhao Yun is very popular with people. Mr. Shen Bojun mentioned in his monograph On Zhao Yun that "among the hundreds of millions of readers of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, besides Zhuge Liang, Zhao Yun is the most beloved figure." Mr. Zhou Siyuan mentioned that Zhao Zilong was shaped according to perfect standards when he rewarded the figures of the Three Kingdoms. There are two "perfect" artistic images in The Romance of Three Kingdoms. Zhuge Liang is a literary figure and Zhao Yun is a military figure. Zhao Yun is one of the most popular artistic images in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He has superb martial arts, noble character, steady wit, and is a perfect artistic model of Confucian generals. At the same time, Shen Bojun

Mr. Wang summarized Zhao Yun's virtues as four points: profound understanding of righteousness, loyalty and courage, fairness and modesty. Zhao Yun's image is always bright, just, brave and fearless, which people have to like.
