Chen Hong, 1962, was born in Cang Xie, Baishui, Shaanxi. He is currently a member of Shaanxi Branch of China Artists Association, a visiting professor at Chang 'an University, and a special member of the editorial board of Maoxue of China UNESCO Press. Influenced by Cang Xie culture since childhood, he loves painting and calligraphy. Bird's Eye of Cang Xie was included in the book Wen Zu, Cang Xie, The Great Wall was included in the Grand Ceremony of Contemporary Famous Painters, and Taking the Lead was included in the Collection of China Bai Jie's Paintings and Calligraphy.
In recent years, he has participated in various art exhibitions held by the state, provinces and cities for many times, and his works "Flying China", "Dragon Horse Spirit" and "Fantasy Sky" have won many gold, silver, bronze and excellent prizes. The work "Prairie Hero" won the second prize in the "Xuanyuan Cup" painting and calligraphy contest, and "Strong China" won the gold medal in the "Talent Cup" painting and calligraphy contest. "Where is the Road" won the gold medal in the adult painting and calligraphy exhibition of the Ministry of Culture. The huge long scroll One World, One Dream, which took seven years to conceive and create, is 2 10 m long and 0/0.2 m wide, and was reported by Shaanxi TV station and many media. In 2005, he held solo exhibitions in Foshan and Zhuhai, Guangdong, and in Baiyin and Jiuquan, Gansu in 2006, and was hired as the vice president by Shaanxi Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute and Yanhuang Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
