On-the-job qualifications are on-the-job qualifications recognition and on-the-job education. On-the-job academic recognition refers to the authenticity of the highest academic qualifications obtained during the on-the-job period.

On-the-job education is divided into two types:

One is on-the-job academic education, that is, applying, studying and taking exams as on-the-job personnel. After passing the exams, on-the-job academic qualifications will formally apply to the school for full-time study.

Non-academic education is to study in the course class first, and then meet the requirements for applying for equivalent academic qualifications stipulated by the state (for example, the standard for graduate students to apply for a bachelor's degree is more than three years), so that they can sign up for the joint entrance examination for equivalent academic qualifications organized by the state every year, formally enter the school, and obtain academic qualifications after passing the examination.

"On-the-job graduate students" will be renamed as "part-time graduate students". Part-time graduate students are different from the original in-service graduate students. Part-time graduate students are included in the national unified examination and marked as full-time graduate students. Their graduation requirements are the same as their degree certificates after graduation, and they have the same legal effect as full-time graduate students.

Under normal circumstances, colleges and universities recognize the master's degree and degree certificate obtained by on-the-job personnel applying for dual-certificate on-the-job postgraduate education. In addition, the on-the-job personnel need to attend the courses organized by universities and complete the training plan before applying for the dual-certificate on-the-job training program to obtain the academic degree certificate. On-the-job personnel can learn more advanced skills during their study, so that their work skills can be effectively improved.
