Henan Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College is an undergraduate private college approved by the Ministry of Education and organized by Henan Daily Newspaper Group Co., Ltd. It is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. Gao He, Party Secretary, and Zheng Fengbin, Dean. The school motto is "Mingde Xinmin, stop at the best".
In April, 2022, official website of the College showed that the College has two campuses, of which the old campus covers an area of 500 mu and the new campus covers an area of 1370 mu, which is adjacent to Zhongyuan Science and Technology City in the west and Ryan Science and Technology Corridor. The college has 12 secondary colleges, covering nine disciplines: literature, science, engineering, economics, management, law, medicine, teaching and art;
Among the existing undergraduate majors, there are 4 provincial-level majors, 2 provincial key disciplines, 7 provincial brand majors, 9 provincial demonstration funded majors, 4 provincial characteristic majors, 2 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, and 4 provincial excellent grassroots teaching organizations.
College was founded in 2003, formerly known as Minsheng College of Henan University. In 2009, Henan Daily Newspaper Group and Henan University joined forces to build Minsheng College. In February, 20021year, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed as Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College in Henan.
