Why do college students study?
First, the goal of learning is unclear.

Whether it is an ordinary university or a key university, it is a common phenomenon that college students lack their own learning goals. Before college, teachers always lead students by the nose. Under the guidance of the teacher, the answers to such questions as "what to learn" and "what not to learn" seem very clear.

Students study hard day and night to enter a famous university. However, after entering the university, more emphasis is placed on autonomous learning, without the guidance of teachers and parents, and there is no clear learning goal. Some students don't know how to manage their spare time, and they are careless: some students show no opinion, some students take what certificates to attend what training courses, blindly follow the trend, and have no independent thinking and judgment; Some students are quite passive in their studies. After finishing the homework assigned by the teacher, they have nothing to do and are addicted to the internet and games. Some students divorced from their actual situation and set a big and empty goal. These are all manifestations of the lack of clear learning goals.

Second, the learning attitude is not correct. Nowadays, among college students, many people lack a correct understanding of why they should study. Therefore, in learning, there is a lack of active learning mentality, which is manifested in listening to the class named by the teacher, playing games and listening to songs after class; I usually don't take the initiative to digest the learning content, and I pin my hopes on the key points before the exam and cheating in the exam. At the same time, it does not pay much attention to the development of practical courses and their own abilities. Like junior and senior high schools, they pay too much attention to the scores and results of exams and don't care whether their abilities have developed. There are two completely different attitudes towards compulsory courses and elective courses. They despise elective courses and have a cold attitude in class.

Third, improper learning methods. The learning method of junior high school and senior high school is that teachers teach by hand, guiding students to learn what and how. Students just need to passively accept it and apply it. After I entered the university, I lost the supervision and guidance of my teachers. What I need more is a conscious spirit. It is a common phenomenon in universities to take notes in class and memorize them before exams. This method can't help to accumulate knowledge and cultivate professional skills. In fact, university study pays more attention to the spirit of independent thinking and diligent thinking. In the current higher education in China, the phenomenon of "learning without thinking, thinking without depth" is widespread. Confucius said, "Learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is dangerous." Emphasize the importance of thinking to learning.

Without independent thinking, there is no real learning; To really learn, you must learn to think independently. However, there are still many students who lack the spirit of active thinking and remain passive recipients of knowledge. When doing papers and research projects, most contemporary college students do not do in-depth discussion and excavation, but simply express their views and opinions.
