Recently, the winners of the 2022 Higher Education Club Cup National Mathematical Modeling Competition were announced. China Youshi University (East China) won 3 national first prizes, 5 national second prizes, 1 provincial prize 13, 2 provincial prizes 16 and 3 provincial prizes 13.
During the competition, the mathematical modeling team of our school overcame all kinds of difficulties caused by the epidemic, and trained through online live broadcast and simulation training, which improved the ability of analyzing and solving problems.
This year, 1606 colleges/campuses and 54257 teams from all over the country, Britain, Malaysia and other countries signed up for the competition. After the competition, the undergraduate group selected 299 national first prizes and 46 national second prizes1/kloc-0.
The National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students was founded in 1992, which is held once a year and sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. It is one of the four national competitions supported by the Ministry of Education, and it is also one of the first 19 competitions listed in the "Subject Competition Ranking". This competition has become the largest basic subject competition in domestic universities and has an important influence at home and abroad. The competition is not limited to majors. It is held in mid-September every year for three days. College students are free to form teams, with 3 people in each team, and complete the competition independently.
