Where is Labrang Temple?
Labuleng Temple is located at No.252 Renmin West Street, Labuleng Town, Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province.

Labuleng Temple is one of the six monasteries of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and it is the representative of monasteries in Gannan area. Pilgrims go on all the year round. Labrang Temple has a unique architectural style and can be called a master of Tibetan architecture. It is a sacred place in the eyes of Tibetans.

Xiahe Labuleng Temple is the largest Tibetan Buddhist college in the world, and it has retained the best Tibetan Buddhist teaching system in China. It is called the World Tibet University. Its main buildings include Dajingtang, Shilun College, Medical College, Khwajira College, Continuing College, Continuing College, Maitreya Buddha Hall and Sakyamuni Buddha Hall.

There are countless giant Buddha statues, exquisite sculptures, murals and utensils. In the courtyard, there is also a super-long corridor that is rare in the world. It takes at least one hour for each prayer wheel to make a circle, where visitors can accumulate merits and pray for their relatives and friends.

Introduction to the scenic spots of Labrang Temple;

There are six halls in the whole temple, the largest of which is Siwen Academy, and Laplong Temple, also known as Dajing Hall, which is the meeting place of "Cuoqin Cuodui" and the center of the whole temple. When jamyang I was first built, there were only 80 pillars. 1772, jamyang II was expanded to 140, which can accommodate 3,000 monks to chant Buddhist scriptures. 1946, James II built the Qian Dian courtyard. At this point, Dajingtang has become the most magnificent building in the whole temple, with hundreds of houses, such as the rich building, front yard, temple and back hall, covering an area of 10 mu.

Dajingtang main hall 14 rooms, north and south 1 1 rooms. In the main hall, there is a plaque of "Huijue Temple" given by Emperor Qianlong. There are seats for jamyang and general tables and mats for monks to chant Buddhist scriptures. There are statues of Sakyamuni, Zong Kaba, two winners and six ancestors, and Zhan Yang who lived in the past. There are exquisite embroidered Buddha statues, banners and covers, which are very gorgeous, as well as Ganzhuer and other classics.
