Nanjing Audit University is the only full-time undergraduate college named after "audit" and one of the birthplaces of audit higher education in China. It stands for test, lives by test, prospers by test and is strong by test.

The school was founded in 1983 and renamed as nanjing audit university in 1987. In 2002, it was merged into Nanjing University of Finance. On 20 165438, it became a "three-province" university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the National Audit Office and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and was awarded a master's degree on 20 13.

In the 39 years of running a school, the school has always adhered to the original intention of serving the audit cause, followed the school-running concept of "characteristics, quality and internationalization" and practiced the school motto of "honesty, truth-seeking, diligence and service to the public". It has developed into the cradle of audit personnel training, the base of audit scientific research, the think tank of audit career development and the window of audit international exchange.

By May 2022, there were more than 200 full-time teachers 1.200, including more than 80 full-time teachers 1.80 with doctoral degrees. There are 1 national teaching team, 8 national ideological and political teachers, 1 national ideological and political teaching team and 4 excellent teaching teams of "Blue Project" in Jiangsu universities.
