As a student of the College of Oceanography of Hebei Agricultural University, aquaculture major is the trump card major of our college, and I have the honor to be a student of aquaculture major. Aquaculture is a very good major. Aquaculture majors also have chemistry and biology, which is also a very good choice for students who like chemistry and biology. To tell the truth, the competitiveness of aquaculture majors is still relatively small, and they are generally majors with relatively low admission scores and relatively large social needs. After graduation, the employment rate of this major is relatively high, even for graduate students or doctoral students, it is easier than other majors.

The main task of aquaculture major is to cultivate the professional skills of animal breeding and the theoretical basis of basic science, and master the applied talents in feed research and development, genetic breeding, virus prevention and control and water environment regulation. The content of this major is mainly related to biology and chemistry, and it is necessary to learn various biological knowledge such as microorganisms, aquatic animal habits, physiology, pathology, freshwater aquaculture, marine aquaculture and so on. Anyway, everything closely related to aquatic products will be involved in the experimental class.
