The eight newly-added universities are: 1, Rehabilitation University 2, Greater Bay Area University 3, Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine 4, Guangzhou Jiaotong University 5, City University of Hong Kong 6, Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 7, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology 8 and China-France Aviation University.

1. Rehabilitation University is located in Qingdao, Shandong Province and belongs to a public institution. 2. Greater Bay Area University is a public school located in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. 3. Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Chongqing and belongs to a public institution. 4. Guangzhou Jiaotong University, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is a public institution. City University of Hong Kong, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is a joint venture between the Mainland and Hong Kong. 6. Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Nanjing, Henan Province, and belongs to a private university. 7. City University of Hong Kong is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It is also a joint venture between the mainland and Hong Kong. 8. China-France Aviation University, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a Sino-foreign cooperative school.

Enrollment plan: Rehabilitation University plans to officially start enrolling students in 2023, Greater Bay Area University plans to enroll students in Songshan Lake Campus in 2023, Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine plans to enroll students in 2023, Guangzhou Jiaotong University plans to enroll students in 2023, Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine plans to enroll students in Guangzhou Campus of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2023, Dongguan Campus of City University of Hong Kong plans to enroll students in September 2023, and China-France Aviation University plans to enroll students in 2023.
