What honors and medals does Wilson enjoy?
1895 Jackson lecturer in physics, Cambridge University. 1900 published a paper on the generation of ions in the air, and was later appointed as a lecturer in meteorological physics and an experimental lecturer. In the same year, he was elected as a member of the Royal Society of London. 1925, Wilson should appoint a professor of natural philosophy at Cambridge University. 1927 won the nobel prize in physics. 1935 was awarded the copley medal by the Royal Society of London. Wilson was knighted in 1937. He also holds honorary degrees from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Cambridge.
