Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology, located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, is a comprehensive normal university. It is a first-class discipline construction university in Jiangxi Province and the first batch of "national key vocational education teacher training bases".

The school started in 1952, and its main predecessor was Nanchang Branch of Jiangxi Normal University, which was founded in 1977. 1987 was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Jiangxi normal university of science and technology for many times. In 2002, it was merged into Nanchang College in 2004, and became a master's degree awarding unit in 2005, with 2065438+.
The school is the first batch of multi-disciplinary undergraduate colleges in China, which is characterized by training professional teachers. It is known as "the cradle of training professional teachers in China". The school has two campuses, LAM Raymond Campus and Hongjiaozhou Campus, covering an area of 2 159 mu. The school has 23 teaching units, 66 undergraduate majors, 1705 faculty members and more than 26,000 students.
