Anhui Finance College was established in May 1959 with the approval of Anhui Provincial Party Committee, and is in charge of the Finance and Trade Department of the Provincial Party Committee. Anhui University of Finance and Trade was originally named. At that time, the school was located in the former site of the former bank school outside the south gate of Hefei (now the east campus and west campus of China University of Science and Technology), with a school scale of 800 students. In 1950s, the school was built in 196 1 and moved to Jiaotong Road, Bengbu City (the former site of the old campus). 1965, the school was taken over by the National Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and later renamed as "Anhui Business School".
