Changji College is located in beautiful changji city, the center of the economic belt on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain in the west of China, 34 kilometers away from Urumqi, the capital, and is connected by Wugui Expressway, Airport Expressway and Wuchang Expressway. Her predecessor was Changji Normal School, which was established in 1959. 1985 was upgraded to Changji Normal College, and in May 2006, it was upgraded to Changji College, an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
