Jiyuan Vocational and Technical College is located in Jiyuan City, Henan Province. It is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a demonstration vocational college in Henan Province, the second batch of modern apprenticeship pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education, and a national high-quality vocational college construction unit.

The college, formerly known as Jiyuan Secondary Technical School, was founded in 1993. In April of 20001year, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college and renamed Jiyuan Vocational and Technical College.
