According to "20 17 Statistical Bulletin of National Education Development" issued by the Ministry of Education, there are 263 1 ordinary colleges and universities (including 265 independent colleges) in China, including 1243 colleges with bachelor degree or above. At present, there are 775 universities in Japan, including 86 national universities, 86 public universities and 603 private universities. There are 169 universities in Korea, and 7 universities are in the top 200, among which Seoul National University ranks the highest, ranking 36th. Korean universities are divided into specialized universities, education universities, comprehensive universities, universities and graduate schools. Due to its land area and population, Singapore has 6 universities, 5 polytechnics and 2 art colleges. There are 226 university-level institutions (including 39 "accredited universities") in India, including 155 traditional universities, 34 agricultural universities, 17 engineering universities and 14 medical science and technology universities. More than 8,000 colleges are affiliated to these universities.
