The Department of Water Resources and Finance were successively placed under Wuhan University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and the headquarters was renamed as Henan Normal University. Later, after passing through Kaifeng Normal University and Henan Normal University, the name of Henan University was restored on 1984.
