China Teacher Training Network, sponsored by the National Teacher Education Association, came into being in the exploration of "Theory and Practice of School-based Training Based on Modern Information Technology Environment", a key topic of the Tenth Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Education. Build a professional development platform for primary and secondary school teachers in China, realize the knowledge management of teachers, schools and regional teaching organizations, and build an online learning community with full participation, teamwork, resource co-construction and sustainable development. In 2007, China Teacher Training Network became an excellent website for primary and secondary school teacher training recommended by the Ministry of Education. In 2008, it became a long-distance network training base for education cadres of the Ministry of Education. Undertake a number of national and local distance training projects and build a number of regional teachers' online learning communities with local partners. In 2009, the national training program "Knowing China" was widely praised by the Ministry of Education, peers and teachers in various provinces and cities, and became a banner of national teacher distance training. On the afternoon of 2011April15th, Vice Minister Liu Limin of the Ministry of Education, accompanied by Director Xu Tao of Teacher Education Department, Director Tang Jingwei of Training Department and Director Xingguo of Teacher Training Department, visited China Teacher Training Network to inspect the work. Minister Liu and his party listened to a special report by Ma Li, president of the National Teacher Education Association and editor-in-chief of China Teacher Training Network, and Wu Xinjie, business director of China Teacher Training Network.
