Fujian Institute of Health is a public full-time general higher vocational and technical school organized by Fujian Provincial People's Government. The college is located in Minhou County, Fujian Province.

Fujian Health Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as the Nursing School Affiliated to Ma Keai Hospital in Fuzhou, was founded in 19 12. In 2005, Fujian Health School and Fuzhou Health School merged to form Fujian Health Vocational and Technical College. In June, 20021,it was successfully selected as a high-level vocational college and professional plan (Class A) construction unit in Fujian Province.

By March 2022, there were 9 teaching institutions, 3 teaching auxiliary institutions, 26 majors, 490 full-time teachers and 1 1324 full-time students in higher vocational colleges.

By March 2022, the College had 9 teaching institutions and 26 majors, covering medicine and related medical majors, forming five professional groups: medicine, pharmacy, nursing, technology and management.

As of March 2022, four majors in the school were listed as the backbone majors of the national action plan for innovation and development of higher vocational education; Two professional groups were selected as provincial high-level professional group construction projects.
