Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, with an altitude of 300.8 meters and an area of 35.20 square kilometers. It is the last of the 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue, located in the tourist scenic area of Orange Island. It is an urban mountain scenic spot, and one of the four major maple scenic spots in China. Yuelu Mountain is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha, the first historical and cultural city in China, and lives by the river. There are four core scenic spots: Lushan Mountain, Orange Island, Yuelu Academy and Xinmin Society. It is a rare national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, a national key scenic spot, a Huxiang cultural communication base and a patriotic education demonstration base.
