In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Gao's ancestor high school originally moved here from Weinan, Shaanxi Province, and built a house to live in, and named the village Luanju Village. In the twentieth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (154 1), the fort was built, which was later called "Bao Bao". It is 550 steps in circumference, 20 feet high, 20 feet wide at the bottom and 10 feet wide at the top. ? The plan shape of the village fortress is octagonal. In the early years of Qing Emperor Kangxi, it changed? Hey? For what? Gu Lian? ; During the reign of emperor Qianlong of Qing dynasty, the commerce and trade in the village was developed, and it was known as? Love in Silver Valley? . After the mid-Qing Dynasty, social stability, the development of agriculture and commerce in the village, the increase of population, the expansion of the village, the gradual destruction of the fort wall, and people built four more streets along the outer ring of the fort wall. Gulian village attaches great importance to cultural education, and advocates that literature respects teachers, which is deeply rooted and has a prosperous culture. Before the Qing dynasty, many large families in the village had private schools, and most young children had to go to private schools to receive enlightenment education.
According to research, in the village? Wuguitang? Gao, the rich Bida, the rich Shuoting, Fu Qian, the rich Shuobi, Liang Bi and other families have all run private schools. Private schools have places for children to learn, and they employ Shi Zhi Juren as a teacher. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were also private primary schools, girls' schools and Gu Lian primary schools in Guang Zhi, offering new courses such as self-cultivation, Confucian classics, Chinese language, history and geography, geography, mathematics and gymnastics to teach agricultural and industrial knowledge. Students wear school uniforms and are free of tuition. The school also has foreign drums, foreign trumpets and other musical instruments, which are played every festival and celebration.
In the Qing Dynasty, there were three academicians, eight juren, 10 1 Taiwanese students (gongsheng), 82 Yao students, 35 Wu Yaosheng, and 102 were knighted. There were 13 college graduates in the Republic of China. The culture of Gulian Village is also reflected in the existing ancient houses. At present, there are more than 40 ancient Ming and Qing houses in the village that are basically well preserved. People in Gulian Village have a long history of compiling genealogy and writing village records. In the seventeenth year of Qing Qianlong (1752), Gao Hung-chien compiled Gao's Genealogy. In the tenth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (1805), Gao was awarded the title of Gao's genealogy. In the 26th year of Daoguang reign (1846), Gao's genealogy was revised three times. In the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892), the village value was high, and it was as rich as an enemy. Gao and Gao Xibi compiled four editions of Gao's genealogy. In 7 years of the Republic of China (19 18), Gao Xihua, Hanlin, compiled Gao's Genealogy.
In the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892), Gao Zeyu wrote the first "Gulian Village Records", which is the earliest existing village records in Shanxi. Quan Zhi, with about 70,000 words, covers the astronomy, geography, politics, history, folk customs, medicine, common sense of life, major events such as road construction, canal repair and disaster relief in Dingwu, and the folk customs of the village. The time span was from the 23rd year of Jiaqing (18 18) to the 31st year of Guangxu (1907).
The Records of Gulian Village, published by Sanjin Publishing House in September, 20 17, is one of the series of Shanxi Village Records. The hardcover edition of 16 is 400,000 words, with Gao Zaifu as the editor and Gao Huai Zhuang and Yang Jinliang as the deputy editors.
