Chongqing Institute of Education is an institution of higher learning focusing on teacher education. Since 1984, it has rebuilt and resumed enrollment, and has trained more than 30,000 talents of all kinds. 1999 Since then, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission has successively approved the establishment of Chongqing Continuing Education Center for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Chongqing Modern Educational Technology Training and Examination Center for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Chongqing Foreign Language Training Center for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Chongqing Education Management Cadre Training Center and Chongqing National Common Language Training Base, making the College one of the main training bases for primary and secondary school teachers and education management cadres in Chongqing.

The college is located in Xuefu Avenue on the south bank of Chongqing, at the west foot of the beautiful Nanshan Mountain, close to Nanping Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, with convenient transportation, smooth information and superior geographical location. The campus is built on the mountain, surrounded by green trees, and the learning environment is elegant and unique.

Edit this paragraph | Back to the top college The scale college now has two secondary colleges, namely, continuing education college and higher vocational and technical college, and there are ten departments, including Chinese, foreign languages, political education (business administration), historical geography (tourism), mathematics, computer and modern educational technology, life science and chemistry, fine arts, physical education and cadre training, and 32 majors, including normal, non-normal and higher vocational and technical education. We have a team of young teachers. Among more than 300 full-time teachers, there are more than 50 teachers with associate senior titles and above/kloc-0, and more than 5000 college students.

The college has continuously increased its investment and strived to improve the conditions for running schools. The construction area of teaching building, experimental building, art building, library and student apartment is more than10.5 million square meters. The library has 320,000 books and 34 specialized laboratories. In recent years, the college has vigorously promoted the modernization of education, invested tens of millions of yuan, and built a modern demonstration laboratory of various disciplines, a campus network connected with the Internet, an electronic reading room, an electronic retrieval system of the library, a foreign language FM radio station, and a number of computer centers and multimedia classrooms for teachers and students. The college has carried out a variety of teaching activities and extracurricular activities such as culture, art, sports and modern information technology among teachers and students, and gradually formed its own school-running characteristics.
