How does the ideological and moral course in junior middle school run through current affairs education
The ideological and moral course in junior high school is a special course with strong times and effectiveness. Current affairs education, ideological and political education and psychological and moral education are all important parts of ideological and moral courses, and they are the main positions of school moral education. How to improve the level of school moral education and students' moral quality has always been a problem explored by educators and enthusiastic educators. As front-line ideological and moral educators, they have more responsibility and obligation to explore ways to solve problems. Standing on the shoulders of historical giants, this paper puts forward my humble opinion on how to run through current affairs education in junior high school ideological and moral courses. Einstein said, "Interest is the best teacher." Junior high school students' outlook on life, values and world outlook are gradually formed in junior high school. Some abstract concepts and viewpoints are difficult to understand, and they need to cultivate their interest in learning when studying ideology and morality. Once students are interested in the learning content, they will study with a proactive attitude. The novelty and charm of teaching content can directly arouse students' interest in learning, and learning without interest is undoubtedly a boring burden. To cultivate students' interest in learning, we must constantly enrich the content of teaching materials and understand students' freshness and curiosity. The new materials, new achievements and social hot issues in China's socialist modernization and reform and opening up are close to the reality of life, and middle school students are very concerned. These materials are vivid, concrete and have a strong sense of the times. Proper application in teaching can stimulate students' interest in learning, enliven classroom atmosphere and enhance the appeal of teaching. Current affairs education is an effective way to stimulate students' interest in learning. How to make good use of class time to tell students about current events? I think we should start with the following points. First of all, teachers should always pay attention to major hot current affairs at home and abroad. As an ideological and moral teacher, on the basis of studying textbooks, we should hunt for more knowledge, enrich our knowledge system, and pay special attention to current events. Only when you have a wealth of current events in your mind can you explain relevant current events to students. Every day, you can record the major current events of the day by watching TV news or surfing the Internet, and explain the relevant knowledge points to students in the next day's class. In this way, students can learn theoretical knowledge in a practical sense, thus improving their interest in learning ideology and morality. I often watch CCTV 1 and 4 programs, collect relevant current events, and often go online to learn about relevant current events, linking current events with the contents of textbooks. For example, when teaching the content of "self-protection" in the eighth grade, the textbook only talks abstractly about how to protect yourself. However, self-protection is a real problem in real life. How can it be concrete and vivid? Let students master this knowledge and realize the importance of strengthening self-protection. I will explain to the students a series of actions after the 5. 12 Wenchuan earthquake, such as: primary school student Lin Hao not only protected himself but also helped other students out of danger; It is also a kind of protection for students to donate their change to the people in the disaster area. In this way, students can intuitively feel and understand the content, so they are interested in learning and easy to understand. Second, set up an interest group on current affairs learning to collect current affairs information. According to the characteristics of rural middle schools, each class elects several current affairs learning interest groups. Because the boarders don't have a place to know current affairs, I let the day students be the team leader when I elect the interest group leader, and let them spend some time watching news reports when they go home every day. Boarders ask them to collect relevant current events online through weekly computer classes. In this way, we can form a multi-channel collection of current affairs materials, let them exchange and discuss the collected current affairs materials in the group, and then sort them out and post them on the learning board newspaper in the class. You can also ask each group to read out the current affairs materials they collected before class, and the teacher can make a simple summary. The purpose of doing this is to let students know about current events personally, strengthen their learning objectives, stimulate their interest in learning and improve their practical ability. I set up four interest groups in current affairs study in our class, and each interest group read out the current affairs materials collected by itself in turn before class, and sorted out the collected materials and posted them on the learning blackboard in the class. In this way, more students can know the latest current events, understand the country's major policies and the international situation, and let them consciously care about current events and establish a political outlook. Three, irregular current affairs content knowledge contest, praise the winning group. Any activity must have a certain incentive mechanism in order to better promote the activity. As an interest group in current affairs learning, if there is no comparison between them and a certain reward system, it will inevitably lead to a decrease in learning enthusiasm. In the end, it is bound to make the interest group studying current affairs go to the formal study group, so there must be a certain reward system to evaluate students' learning and ensure their enthusiasm for learning. The way of praise can be language encouragement and material reward. I made good use of this point in the teaching process, so that the interest group in current affairs learning kept fresh from the beginning and was full of enthusiasm for exploring current affairs knowledge. I conducted activities such as "How much do I know about current affairs", "Quiz on current affairs" and "Write a short essay on current affairs" in four interest groups in our class, and then selected the winners, encouraged them or gave them a little material reward in class, so that the winning group continued to want to maintain the winning momentum, and the lagging group caught up with and surpassed the winning group. Let all interest groups in current affairs study form good competition and stimulate their learning enthusiasm. It is of great significance to educate middle school students on current affairs so that they can understand the situation at home and abroad and the major principles and policies of the party and the state, so as to improve their ideological and political consciousness, cultivate their ability to analyze practical problems, clarify their social responsibilities, and make life and career choices in line with social development. More importantly, it can cultivate their interest in learning ideology and morality, which is conducive to the cultivation and formation of their good morality, thus improving their own quality and laying a good learning mentality for learning other subjects. In a word, as a front-line ideological and moral teacher, we should pay attention to interspersed with current events in the teaching process, and link the knowledge in textbooks with practical problems in reality.
