One, six arts

What is Six Arts? Six arts have two theories:

(1) Six Arts, Rites, Music, Shooting, Imperial, Calligraphy and Mathematics.

See "Bao's Family in Zhou Li": "To educate the country by Tao is to teach six arts: one is five rites, the other is six music, the third is five shots, the fourth is five orders, the fifth is six books, and the sixth is nine numbers."

(2) Six arts are the Six Classics, which are called Yi, Shu, Shi, Li, Yue and Chun Qiu.

The "art" in ancient times is the "talent" now. In ancient times, science was called "the branch of art". Six Arts in Zhou Dynasty is the traditional six talents education system in China;

First of all, there are five etiquette States: Meng Li, Wu Li,,.

Two, six subjects of music and art: Yunmen, Xianchi, Dashao, Daxia, Hu Da and Dawu.

Shooting three or five subjects: white arrow, ginseng, brush note, ruler and well instrument.

2. What are the six arts taught by Confucius?

The first guess:

The six arts taught by Confucius are ceremony, music, calligraphy, imperial command, shooting and counting.

Evidence: There is no evidence to support that Confucius can systematically teach shooting, defense and counting or teach shooting, defense and counting.

The second guess:

The six arts taught by Confucius are etiquette, music, calligraphy, Yi, poetry and Spring and Autumn Period.

Confucius' "Poems, Books, Rites, Music, Yi, Chunqiu" can't find the basis of sages, so it is his invention. He didn't like "shooting, imperial, and counting" in the Six Arts of Zhou Dynasty, so he deleted it. He wanted to "repair", so he added "Poetry, Yi, Chunqiu". Why didn't Confucius like "shooting, conquering and counting"? Why do you want to add "Shi Yi Chun Qiu"?

Ancient "six arts": etiquette is a knowledge about social skills; Music art is a knowledge about the ability to express feelings; Shooting is a knowledge about knowledge and ability; Bending is a knowledge about mastering ability; Calligraphy is a knowledge about narrative ability; The art of mathematics is the knowledge about computing power. These are all about the logical system of human talent education in China's Zhou Liyi. The archery deleted by Confucius is the epistemology in Zhou Li, which should include knowledge, association, consciousness, will and teleology. The imperial art in Zhou Li is a logical theory, which should include formal logic, dialectics, decision-making, historical materialism and realistic revolution. Nine subjects of mathematical art mark the glory of ancient mathematics in China. Obviously, shooting, imperial power and figures are unfamiliar to a Confucius who has not received systematic education. His theory did not mention shooting, imperial power and number, which is an obvious proof. Only by deleting them from the education system can he show Confucius' egoism. In essence, he buried China's rational thought of shooting, ruling and counting and the ancient scientific spirit in the people's feelings of poetry, divination, benevolence and war concern. The relationship between the upper and lower classes in society is that righteousness is greater than profit, virtue is greater than benevolence, and officials obey the people. Confucius's "Destroying Virtue for Righteousness" is the following offense. Those who say that Confucius also taught archery can't come up with the historical basis at that time.
