Many domestic social science research plans mostly copy European and American research. Except for the different groups of people studied, mainland scholars rarely make breakthroughs in theory and methodology. There is nothing new in the research, which is one of the reasons why it is difficult to be hired.
Requirements:
SSCI has stricter requirements in methodology, especially in experimental design and statistical analysis. The manuscripts of clinical medical journals are basically T-test analysis of variance, and most of them are multiple regression models.
The statistical analysis methods of social science, education, psychology, public policy and other magazines are much more complicated, especially now emphasizing evidence-based practice/policy, and many manuscripts adopt quantitative analysis. At least one author is an expert in statistics.
