The differences between qualifications and qualifications are as follows:

1, different applicable objects:

(1) Length of service refers to the working time of employees with wage income as the main source or all sources since the establishment of labor relations with the unit;

(2) Teaching seniority refers to the continuous cumulative time for teachers to engage in teaching work, so teaching seniority is only used by teachers, and teaching seniority is used by all employees;

2, the calculation range is different:

(1) Length of service refers to the working time when wage income is the whole or main source of employees' life; The continuous calculation method is also called the continuous calculation length of service method. For example, if an employee is transferred from unit A to unit B, his working time in units A and B should be continuously calculated as continuous length of service. If an employee is rehabilitated after being wrongly handled, the time of being wrongly handled can be added to the time of continuously calculating the length of service before the error handling and the working time after the rectification, and continuously calculated as the continuous length of service;

(2) Teaching seniority refers to the continuous cumulative time for teachers to engage in teaching work, calculated in years. Teachers in secondary specialized schools, teachers' further education schools, technical schools, ordinary middle schools, vocational middle schools, agricultural middle schools, reform-and-study schools, schools for the blind and deaf, primary schools, schools for mentally retarded children and kindergartens, or full-time young pioneers counselors in primary and secondary schools directly engaged in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic education, are counted as teaching experience;

3, the calculation method is different:

(1) The calculation methods of seniority include continuous calculation method, seniority conversion method and combined calculation method;

(2) The calculation method of teaching experience is that the teaching experience is equal to the number of years in the current year minus the number of years when participating in educational work.

Teaching seniority is the number of years that teachers directly engage in school education. Qualification calculation method:

1. The working years of full-time Young Pioneers counselors in primary and secondary schools who are teachers in the above schools or directly engaged in moral education, intellectual education, physical education and aesthetic education are calculated as teaching experience.

2. Teachers transferred from various schools at all levels to the above-mentioned schools, whose original years of full-time work as teachers can be combined with their years of work after transfer to calculate their teaching years.

3, private teachers or long-term substitute teachers to school public teachers after the teaching experience calculation, should be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the calculation of length of service.

4. Teachers who have interrupted their educational work due to unjust, false and wrong cases and have been rehabilitated and corrected continue to engage in educational work, and the interruption time can be calculated as the teaching years.

5. In the previous political movement, teachers who were paid in-service could be counted as teaching years.

6. Teachers who have been ill for more than 6 months in a row are not counted as teaching seniority.
