1. Observation method:
Observation is one of the most commonly used research methods in preschool education. Researchers obtain data by observing children's behaviors, interactions and learning styles in different situations. Observation can be structured, unstructured, on-site observation or video observation.
2. Interview method:
Interview is to understand children, teachers and parents' views, experiences and opinions through face-to-face communication. Interviews can be structured or semi-structured or unstructured. The interview method can deeply understand the needs of young children and the problems in educational practice.
3. Questionnaire survey method:
By designing questionnaires, parents and teachers of children in a certain range are given questionnaires to understand their views, attitudes and beliefs. The questionnaire can quantify the views of the subjects and facilitate statistical analysis.
4. Experimental research methods:
Experimental research method is to observe the causal relationship between variables by designing experiments. In preschool education, we can design different teaching methods or educational intervention measures to observe children's learning effects under different conditions.
5. Case study method:
Case study method is to study the cases of individual or a few children in depth, and understand their characteristics, needs and educational background through in-depth analysis of the cases. Case study method can provide detailed individual information and help researchers better understand the problems of early childhood education.
6. Action research method:
Action research method is a practical research method. Usually, teachers or early childhood educators spontaneously choose a practical problem, and through the cyclical process of reflection, action and feedback, educational practice and teaching quality can be improved.
7. Comparative research methods:
Comparative research method is to compare and analyze preschool education in different regions, different schools and different kindergartens, to explore their similarities and differences, so as to understand the effects and characteristics of preschool education in different backgrounds.
8. Literature research methods:
Literature research method is to understand the development process, research results and theoretical system of preschool education discipline by consulting all kinds of literature, including books, periodicals and dissertations, and provide theoretical basis for research.
