Beijing's settlement policy

Master degree or above

If you want to settle down in Beijing, you must first obtain a master's degree or above abroad, and go through the formalities of canceling your public office before going abroad, and study abroad for one year (more than 360 days).

Application material

The materials to be prepared for applying to settle in Beijing include the Registration Form for Resettlement of Returned Overseas Students, the original Certificate of Returned Overseas Students, and the original certificate of foreign academic qualifications (calendar) issued by the Service Center for Studying Abroad of the Ministry of Education. Household registration related certificate

Relevant certificates of household registration include family accounts and collective accounts. Family accounts need to provide household registration books and ID cards, and collective accounts need to provide household registration certificates and ID cards. If you have cancelled your account during your study abroad, you must attach a certificate of cancellation of your account valid within 90 days.

Other auxiliary materials

Other supplementary materials include: the home page of the collective household registration address submitted by the immediate family members registered in Shanghai and submitted to the employer, and the original notice of consent for admission submitted to the collective household in the Shanghai or district talent service center. Application requirements

The requirements for applying to settle in Beijing include obtaining a master's degree or above abroad, and submitting all application materials to the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education for acceptance within two years after returning home. Applicants who apply to settle in other provincial capitals (excluding Shanghai and Shenzhen) need a bachelor's degree or above.
