major duty

Participate in the formulation of policies, measures and relevant regulations for raising education funds, allocating education funds, charging education fees and subsidizing students in the whole city. Responsible for the management of the city's compulsory education guarantee mechanism funds, national and provincial education special funds. Statistics and monitoring on the investment and implementation of the city's education funds in conjunction with relevant departments. Responsible for guiding the city's student financial assistance work. Participate in the planning, investment and bidding management of infrastructure projects of subordinate units. Responsible for the internal audit of the education system.

(eight) to guide the work of sports, health and health education, art education and national defense education in schools at all levels in the city. Coordinate primary and secondary school students to participate in national and provincial sports (including national defense) competitions and art exchange activities. (nine) in charge of the work of teachers in the city. Plan and guide the construction of teachers in all levels and types of schools in the city.
