1999 With the approval of Harbin Municipal People's Government, Shuangcheng Vocational and Technical Education Center was jointly established with several other vocational schools.

In recent years, the school has made great progress in strengthening the construction of school software and hardware. It has invested more than 30 million yuan to build two modern teaching buildings, two training buildings and three dormitory buildings in 1 dining building, and built more than 30 high-standard practice training rooms.

The school has advanced training equipment, including 15 sets of numerical control training equipment, 20 sets of various large welding machines, 20 sets of automobile inspection and maintenance equipment, 200 computers and various accessories and software.
