Teacher certification refers to an external evaluation process carried out by a specialized educational evaluation and certification institution in accordance with the certification standards, aiming at proving whether the major can meet the established quality standards of personnel training in the current and foreseeable period.

The certification targets include undergraduate majors and education majors in normal universities, including preschool education, primary education, secondary education, vocational education and special education.

The certification of teachers' major is divided into three levels of monitoring certification. "Monitoring" is the first level of certification, and its goal is to monitor the basic school conditions and requirements of teachers' major in colleges and universities with the help of dynamic database.
