In terms of teaching methods, Confucius put forward the idea of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude", that is, different teaching methods are adopted according to the different levels and characteristics of students. He advocates heuristic teaching, allowing students to think independently and "draw inferences from others". He put forward the argument of combining learning with thinking. He said that "learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is dangerous." Learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is daydreaming. He also emphasized "learning more" and "consistency", that is, there is a unified principle to integrate all knowledge, so as to sublimate knowledge accumulation to the level of theoretical thinking, which includes opinions on the relationship between experience and theory.
