Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University is an independent college established by Peking University in Shenzhen, not a branch of Peking University. Although Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School has a cooperative relationship with Peking University, the teaching and research direction of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School pays more attention to application and practice in management, teaching and research.

Peking University Shenzhen Research Institute has postgraduate education and doctoral education; Peking University has not only undergraduate education, but also postgraduate education and doctoral education. Both the diploma and the degree certificate are in Peking University, and the department is the specific college name (excluding Shenzhen), which is no different from Yanyuan Campus. All campuses of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School Yanyuan Campus have Peking University Graduate Certificates.
