Gannan Teachers College is located in Ganzhou, a national historical and cultural city and a sub-central city of Jiangxi Province, enjoying the reputation of "Song Cheng in the south of the Yangtze River", "Cradle of Hakka" and "Red Old Capital". The school was founded in June 1958, when it was Gannan Normal University; 1984 was renamed Gannan Normal University and upgraded to a provincial undergraduate normal university;
In 2003, it became a master's degree awarding unit; 2065438+In March 2006, it was renamed Gannan Normal University with the approval of the Ministry of Education; 20 17- 12 successfully passed the inspection and evaluation of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education, and the expert group evaluated the school as "a regional excellent normal university with distinctive characteristics and good prospects".
