Beijing Vocational College of Electronic Technology is a public vocational college in Beijing, which is located on the Liangshui River in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 807 mu. It is the seat of Beijing Vocational Education Park and the only institution of higher learning in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The history of the school can be traced back to 1958, and 1999 became the first batch of independent higher vocational colleges in China.

In August, 2003, Beijing Institute of Political Science and Law Management and Beijing Third People's Police School merged to form Beijing Vocational College of Political Science and Law, focusing on developing higher vocational education and organizing adult higher education, secondary vocational education and vocational training.

Beijing Institute of Technology is a public ordinary higher vocational college with engineering as the main and independent setting. The school, formerly known as Beijing Coal Industry School, was founded in 1956. Higher vocational education began in 1994, and 1999 was officially transformed into a vocational and technical college.
