Sponsored by Zhejiang Higher Education Society and Zhejiang Branch of Xinhua News Agency, and hosted by Xinhua News Agency's "China Netscape" new media base, the selection activity of "My Youth is My Master"-"The Most Beautiful Dormitory" for college students in Zhejiang Province came to an end. The three dormitories selected by Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Hydropower won the honor of "the most beautiful": the original 13# 104 was rated as the "most independent" dormitory, the original 1# 103 as the "freshest" dormitory, and the original13 # 3. Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Hydropower also won the excellent organization award of this activity.

Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Hydropower has always attached great importance to the construction of civilized dormitories, adhering to the theme of "university civilization, starting from dormitories", firmly establishing the guiding ideology of "student-oriented", building neat, cultural and harmonious dormitories, persisting in the strong dormitory cultural atmosphere as the starting point, making great efforts to strengthen the construction of secondary colleges, consolidating and deepening the construction of clean dormitories, vigorously promoting the construction of cultural dormitories, and improving students' ability of "self-education, self-management and self-service"

Since the start of civilized dormitory construction, hundreds of dormitories in the whole school have been rated as "star dormitory", "demonstration dormitory" and "civilized dormitory" at first, 50 dormitories were rated as "civilized dormitory" in the 20 14/20 15 academic year, and the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, the School of Water Conservancy and Environmental Engineering and the School of Information Engineering and Art Design were rated as 2065438 respectively. Through the three levels of school, college and students, students have established the consciousness that civilization starts from dormitory and starts from me.
