Don Quixote content outline
In La Mane, Spain, there lived a poor gentleman in his fifties named Gihano. Whenever he is free, he buries himself in knight novels. His mind is full of the absurd idea of the ranger's adventure. He completely lost his reason and daydreamed. He decided to become a knight errant, fight for justice, save the poor and make a name for himself. He wore a set of rusty and moldy armor handed down from his ancestors as a solid helmet. It took him four days to give his scrawny horse a noble and resounding name-driving is rare, which shows that although it used to be a Hummer, it is now a knight's mount, which is a rare thing in the world. He also named himself Don Quixote Tara Manche, which means that he is a famous Don Quixote knight of Manche. He also believed that there must be no right person for the knight errant, so he took the pig-raising woman he secretly loved as the right person and gave her a princess-like name: Dursi Neya Tyre Toposo. Everything was ready, so he got on it, put on his helmet and shield, picked up his pike and left home. When Don Quixote arrived in the suburbs, it suddenly occurred to him that he had not been knighted, which was a very serious matter. When he arrived at an inn in the evening, he imagined the inn as a castle and the rogue liar boss as the owner of the castle. He called the shopkeeper to the stable, knelt down and asked the shopkeeper to give him a knight. Seeing that he was a madman, the shopkeeper was afraid that he would make trouble, so he held an official sealing ceremony in the stable. The shopkeeper used the mule driver's account book as a Bible, muttering to himself, then patted Don Quixote's neck, patted him on the shoulder with Don Quixote's sword, and finally asked two prostitutes to hang swords for Don Quixote. After the ceremony, Don Quixote couldn't wait, so he rode out for an adventure. Don Quixote's first adventure was to save the child who was beaten by the landlord tied to a tree. He ordered the landlord to untie the child and pay him all the money. The landlord was scared to do it one by one. After Don Quixote left, the landlord tied the child back to the oak tree, gave him a good beating and killed him. Don Quixote came to a crossroads and met a group of businessmen. He wants others to recognize his lover as a unique beauty in the world. The merchant's mule driver didn't buy it. Don Quixote thought it was blaspheming his peerless beauty, so he angrily challenged the businessman. The mule driver grabbed his pike and beat him black and blue, unable to move. In the street, a fellow villager passed by the mill carrying wheat and sent him home. Although Don Quixote is ill at home, he firmly believes that the most urgent need in the world is the knight errant, and his moral revival depends on him alone. He will not only continue to take risks, but also lobby poor farmer Sancho to be his squire. He made a wish to Sancho that after he conquered an island, he would make Sancho the governor of the island. Sancho finally left his wife and children as Don Quixote's attendants. One night, Don Quixote and his entourage secretly left home for the second time. They came to the countryside and saw thirty or forty windmills in the distance. Don Quixote said to his entourage, "There are more than 30 extraordinarily big giants over there. I will fight them and kill them one by one, so that we can win and become rich. This is a just war. Eliminating this bad thing on earth is a great contribution to God. " The attendants repeatedly explained that it was a windmill, not a giant. Don Quixote not only refused to listen, but accused his followers of being timid and not taking risks. Then he rushed to the first windmill with a pike and a horse. He hit the wing of the windmill with one shot. Wings whirled in the wind, pike broke into several pieces, Don Quixote swept out, man and horse, and Don Quixote rolled on the ground, flustered. Afterwards, Don Quixote never believed that he stabbed the windmill, insisting that the magician opposed him, turned the giant into a windmill and deprived him of the glory of victory. One night, the master and servant came to an inn. The shopkeeper arranged for them to live on the top floor with a mule driver. A maid in the inn made an appointment with the mule driver that night. The maid touched the wrong place in the dark and went to Don Quixote's bed. Don Quixote thought it was a beautiful goddess, grabbed the maid, held it tightly in her arms, and talked with her about love. Hearing this, the mule driver was full of evil thoughts and didn't sleep. He was so jealous that he fought. When the shopkeeper heard the news, he saw the crowd fighting fiercely in the dark and twisted into a ball, unable to persuade. Later, the patrol leader of the Saint Friends Group heard the news and intervened, and everyone was relieved. The hapless Don Quixote was killed. The master and servant left the inn and moved on. One day, just as they were talking and walking, they suddenly saw the dust rolling ahead. Don Quixote immediately excitedly said to Sancho, these are two armies composed of countless nationalities, who came to fight in this wasteland, and he himself is also ready to show his talents, help the just side, fight against the evil side, and do something that will go down in history and be immortal. Sancho looked carefully and saw that there was no army at all, only the dust raised by two sheep. He also heard the cries of rams and ewes. Don Quixote insists that this is a million-strong army, not a flock of sheep. He even heard the rustle of Ma Si, horns and drums. He lost his mind and didn't listen to Sancho's advice at this moment. He rushed into the sheep and stabbed at random with a gun, as if he were really assassinating his old enemy. The shepherd kept drinking loudly, so he took off his slingshot and kept hitting stones the size of his fist, breaking his scalp and knocking out several teeth. When the shepherd saw that he was in trouble, he gathered the sheep together, carrying seven or eight dead sheep on his shoulders and ran away in a hurry. Although Don Quixote suffered a loss, he comforted Sancho and said, "The storms we passed are all signs that the weather will clear up soon, which indicates that the situation will improve." Shortly after this conversation, Don Quixote saw eleven or twelve prisoners being taken to the sea and doing hard work on the road ahead. Don Quixote said that people are born free and should not be forced to do hard work. It is the duty of the knight errant to hoe the strong and save the suffering. So he overthrew the soldiers who escorted him, liberated the prisoners and ordered them to visit Dulcinea and report Don Quixote's achievements. Behold, the criminal bite the hand that feeds him, stoned him to the ground, robbed him and Sancho of all their clothes, and fled in all directions. Don Quixote was very angry and his good deeds were rewarded. Don Quixote released the prisoners, afraid of being chased by officers and men, and quickly fled to Montenegro to practice. He asked Sancho to send a love letter to Dulcinea. On the way, Sancho met the priest and barber who came to see Don Quixote. They tricked Don Quixote out of Montenegro, put him in a bag, put him in a carriage and escorted him home. His family will never let him go out again. After Don Quixote learned that Zaragoza was going to hold a tournament, he left home with Sancho for the third time, regardless of his family's opposition. At the request of Don Quixote's family, college student Gallasger tried to trick Don Quixote into going home. He disguised himself as a "mirror" knight, caught up with the master and servant and challenged Don Quixote. Don Quixote took the lead, and the "mirror" knight was caught off guard. Don Quixote won the battle, beaming. Then, Don Quixote and Sancho met a carriage with two fierce African lions, which was a gift from Governor Oran to the emperor. Don Quixote forced two transporters to open the cage and let two wild animals out. He wants to compete with the lion. The lion keeper couldn't beat him, so he had to force open the cage and let the scary, fierce and terrible lion out. The lion turned around, stretched out a paw, stretched himself, yawned with his mouth open, licked the dust around his eyes with his long tongue, then put his head out of the cage and looked around with a pair of hot eyes, ignoring Don Quixote's nonsense as if it was not worth fighting with him, then turned around, put his ass towards Don Quixote and slowly lay in the cage. Don Quixote was determined to compete with the lion and told the person in charge of the lion to hit a few sticks to make it angry and run out. The person in charge of the lion said: it is a failure that the lion does not appear, and the crown of victory should belong to you. Don Quixote didn't stop. Although Don Quixote has the feat of defeating the "mirror" knight and the glory of defeating the lion, he has not conquered the island yet, so he will continue to attack. One night, the master and servant met the duke and his wife who were out hunting. The Duke and Duchess have heard of Don Quixote's deeds. They tried to find something new to amuse themselves, so they welcomed Don Quixote and Sancho to their home and came up with all kinds of tricks to make fun of them. The duke sent Sancho to a small town under his command as the "island" governor. He arranged a few puzzles to play tricks on Sancho, but Sancho was unselfish, wise in decision, impartial in law enforcement and solved them one by one. People think that the new governor learns from Wan Li and admires him very much. Sancho has made outstanding achievements on the "island" and made many laws to benefit the people. One day, the Duke sent his men to attack the "island" pretending to be enemies, and knocked Sancho down in the chaos. A guy used Sancho's body as a lookout, standing on it and commanding, which made him ache all over. Sancho felt that it was better to go home and farm with peace of mind when he became governor, so he resigned as governor, remained uncorrupted and returned to Don Quixote. Don Quixote was teased at the Duke House and didn't want to stay any longer. The master and servant left the Duke House like a duck to water, and they could not help admiring the value of freedom. Don Quixote's master and servant left the Duke's house and came to Barcelona. One morning, Don Quixote came to the seaside armed to the teeth. Suddenly I met a well-dressed knight, claiming to be a knight of Baiyue, and wanted to have a fight with Don Quixote. The condition is that if Don Quixote loses, he will lay down his arms, stop exploring and stay in his hometown for a year. If he wins, he can dispose of his life, weapons, horses and so on. At the beginning of the duel, the "Baiyue" knight came running and knocked Don Quixote down with his horse and man. Don Quixote had to go home. It turns out that "Baiyue" knight is a college student named Garlasco. Don Quixote returned home and couldn't afford to get sick. Before he died, he woke up and finally realized that those knight legends were all nonsense. He is not Don Quixote, a knight errant, but Alonso Gihano, who is kind-hearted and known as a "good man". According to the notary, in knight novels, I have never seen a knight errant die peacefully and devoutly in bed like Don Quixote. Cervantes (1547— 16 16), the author of Don Quixote, is a great novelist, dramatist and poet in modern Spain. He was born into a declining aristocratic family. His life is full of adventure and suffering. He was injured in the Battle of Lebando and became a "Lebando one-armed man". His literary creation reached the peak of the "golden century" of Spanish literature. Don Quixote is Cervantes' masterpiece. The author's purpose in writing this novel is to "clean up the knight novel". However, the social significance of the works goes far beyond mocking and attacking knight novels. There are nearly 700 characters in the novel, which depicts a very broad picture of life. It comprehensively and truly reflected the feudal social reality of Spain from the end of16th century to the beginning of17th century, exposed various contradictions in the declining Spanish kingdom, condemned the debauchery and shamelessness of the aristocratic class, and expressed deep sympathy for the people's sufferings. As soon as the novel 1605 was published, it caused a sensation throughout Spain, was circulated by courts and streets, and was reprinted six times a year. 1606 someone actually wrote a sequel to Don Quixote under a pseudonym, which not only distorted the original work, but also personally attacked the author. Cervantes was extremely indignant and immediately stepped up his creation. The second volume of Don Quixote was published in 16 15, which was warmly welcomed by readers. Don Quixote has taken a big step forward compared with previous European novels in terms of the depth and breadth of reflecting reality and the typicality of characterization. It has had a far-reaching influence on the literature of European countries and has become a treasure in the treasure house of world literature.
