First of all, in terms of road conditions, the Beijing-Luzhou Expressway was built earlier than the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, and the pavement quality is relatively good. However, the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway was opened to traffic before the Beijing-Luzhou Expressway, and the traffic volume was large, while the newly built roads of the Beijing-Luzhou Expressway were flat and wide, with many interchanges.
